Monday, Monday

Good Morning everyone. I hope you all had a great weekend. It was somewhat of a busy weekend over here for us with lots of Gardening, Baseball, Movies, Sushi, and something called Derby Days.

Derby days is a lil shin dig for Redmond, WA. that is kinda like a birthday party for Redmond. Booths from every known business in Redmond giving out free stuff and candy, and free stuff. They have concerts, bike races, fire works, pony rides, carnivals, clowns, and did I mention free stuff?

OH and there was also some Sun this weekend. Operative word in that sentence being "some". I almost forgot the Sun. How could I ever forget you SUN? I am so sorry, Sun. I won't let that happen again. The Sun seems to feel neglected these days and tries to remind us Washingtonians not to forget how important his presence is by playing hide and seek all weekend. So there Sun, I gave mention to you on my blog this morning so stick around would ya? Pretty please with an olive on top?

Last night we watched the movie The Grey or is it just Grey? With Liam Neeson? I always think of Regis Philbin when I say Liam Neeson. He would always try to say Liam Neeson with a some kind of scottish/irish/ mumbled silly accent and really it just always sounded like he was drawing out the the name L I A M Neeeee son. He would try so hard to sound like Liam and really I just think he liked saying his name. It is a fun name, don't cha think?  Who even knows what I am talking about right now? Any Regis fans in the house? Sigh... I miss Regis.
Anyway the movie is intense. I jumped. A LOT. I am a jumpy movie watcher. Not so much a squeeze My Giant's hand movie watcher, but for sure a Jumpy Movie watcher. Even movie's that I have seen a thousand times can still make me jump. Anyone else share this Jumpy Movie watcher syndrome?
Ok good, glad to know I am not alone.

And here is where I would like to segway into what I am really here to do today and that is I would like to introduce you all to this lovely young lady Amy. Amy won a HUGE giveaway last month and one of her prizes was a ad on my lil spot here. SO pull up a chair, get comfy, and meet Amy from Ok Amy

"My name is Amy. My little piece of the internet is Ok Amy.
I started blogging back in mid-March with every intent to blog about beauty and fashion, blah blah blah. I read so many blogs and thought "if they can do this and make some extra money, then why can't I?" Quickly, I realized that I wasn't entirely happy just blogging about the superficial things in life and that I'm not in it for the money. What can you find on my blog now?
My loves Mario & Hayleigh, Reviews, lots of nail polish and girly things, some of my art, FOOD (CHIPOTLE), me attempting to stick to my work out plan ;), random adventures, and whatever else I decide to throw on there. I'm still testing the waters of blogging and just really trying to find what's "me" as a blog writer. But yes, food, Mario, and Hayleigh, will most definitely always be on my blog."

Gotta love a girl who blogs about more than just fashion. Good call Amy ;)You are one talented nail artist though, I have to say I am quite impressed with those nails. And I have seen some artsy nails, having 2 sisters, and 2 daughters.

Be sure to head over to Amy's blog and say hello.
Let her know I sent you.

And say LIAM NEESON for fun today :)

I was a little curious on watching The Grey. Like you I get too jumpy when watching certain movies. Like The lady in white, boy did I jump and closed my eyes throughout the entire movie. lol I'm off to read Amy's blog. I hope you're having a wonderful day!
