Love/Hate # 1 for 2013

Good Day To You Beloved Reader- I hope you all had a wonderful weekend and that you were able to stay warm. We have had some frigid temps here in the PNW. Today I'm going to start my blog week off with an oldie but a goodie link up; LOVE/HATE. If you have some Love/Hates (or dislike strongly) then please feel free to link up below. And away we go...
I Love my new design pic for my Etsy Shop. I Hate that when I posted it to my shop it got kinda blurry. All that work for a blurry pic, seriously not ok! See, even now I am trying to make the pic below bigger and it's not working. Blurry pics are lame. Lame I tell you.

I Love that it is a start to a brand new year.

I Hate that over the holidays I had no time to blog so there are countless events that I need to go back over to share with you all. Like the fact that I turned 38 on December 17th.

38 is great, more about that later.

I Love the blogging community, and one of my newest friends from the blogsphere is Marci who blogs over at Stone Cottage Adventure. Marci was my blog angel over the holidays and you can read what she wrote about me here ;Stone Cottage Adventure. Even though she wrote this post about me over 10 days ago, I have just now had the chance to head over there and read it.
 I HATE that!! Seriously, can I get a witness for the fact that there are just not enough hours in the day to read your favorite blogs. I hate being out of the loop and not having time to say hello to my blogger buds out there. YOU all are some of my favorite peeps on planet earth and I  LOVE to read what you are thinking, but sometimes it comes down to ... feed the children... or .... read a blog! I know you are glad I go with feeding my Fab 4 ;) most of the time. 
I Love my sewing machine. I Hate that there are just not enough hours in the day to get all that I want accomplished on Mr. Kenny Kenmore.

He truly is my new best friend.
I Love my bible study with Beth Moore on the book of James right now. I Hate that it is kicking my boot -ay and making me wonder if I am even saved right now.
I Love getting back in shape...  No wait. I Hate getting back in shape.  No wait. I Love it I do, but seriously the older I get it is just that much harder to back up on that healthy, walking, running, jumping, moving wagon called HEALTH and FITNESS! Sometimes I wonder why our muscles being sore after a work out have to be the constant reminder to us that we are OLD!! You don't have this issue? Huh, well ok then Missy Healthy Pants, thanks for leaving me hanging here not only feeling OLD but FAT, and OLD!! 

I Love this Link UP I Hate that I haven't done it in so long.

Love/Hate

Well here it is Wednesday again time for a recap of my week with some Love/Hates.
Feel free to join the link up if you have a few you'd like to share yourself.

I love the summer time.

I hate that there is only a few weeks left of it here.

I love that I am really getting good at sewing.

I hate that sometimes my sewing machine doesn't want to cooperate with me.

I loved having the 50's retro photo shoot a few weeks ago.

I hate how grown up my girls look now, and how old I feel sometimes.

I love that my girl Emma got on the High School Volleyball team
I hate the small fortune I had to pay just so she could play.

I love My Giant. He is a masterpiece of a man.
I hate that he is away for work right now.

Those are my Love/Hates right now what are some of yours?

Love/Hate # 10

I love that my mom is here visiting with a one way ticket to ride ;)
I hate that we do have to, at some point, by her a return flight home.

I love that I got to spend some time with my family in Mulkilteo.
I hate that I haven't been to this spot in almost a year. Crazy, busy life.

I love learning about my Italian heritage, and how my family came to be.
I hate that there are not enough hours in the day to listen to all the stories, nor are there enough details. I want a Farina family reunion ASAP!!

I love my son Solomon and the way he thinks.
I hate that sometimes I don't always understand his thinking and I am left shaking my head at him.

I love having face time with the beautiful Natalie Rose.

I hate that I don't live close enough to squeeze her neck on a regular basis.

So those are all the love/hates that I can think of for this week.

Love/Hate dedicated to the Birthday boy

I LOVE beyond words my son Isaiah.
I hate that I can't keep him all to myself forever, and ever AMEN.

I love how social he is. He has never met a stranger.
I hate how this can sometimes provide some socially awkward moments for his Momma ;)

I love that my son Isaiah wanted to have a "Nacho Libre" themed birthday party this year.
I hate that there is not a lot of party decor for this type of event. (Ideas, anyone?)

I love that my son Isaiah is turning 8 on July 29th.
I hate how no one is ever around for summer so the birthday party guest list seems slim.

I love having one more kid who is not yet double digits.
I hate how in 2 very short years this will not be the case.

I love that he is my baby.
I hate that someday he won't be able to sit in my lap, well he will but it will just be kind of a Buddy the Elf situation.

Love/Hate

Love - that the Fab 4 are out for summer. WOOT WOOT!!

Hate- that it doesn't really feel like summer weather wise.
Come on WA let's get with the program already!! I know, I know wait til after the 4th of July.

Love- that one of my bestie friends Miss Marie is coming to visit in a few days.

Hate -that she doesn't get to stay longer, but I am going to enjoy every second and document them
well(wink wink)

Love -the new book I'm reading Inside Of A Dog , all about my 4 leggeds. Seriously those of you that are 4 legged owners out there, this is such a great book.

Hate- that I didn't know some of this stuff sooner. Really would have helped me out to understand the why behind the bad behaviors of my 4 leggeds.

Love- having girly girls that Love to play dress up, and have an impromptu photo shoot at any given moment.
Hate- that said girly girls are really becoming more and more womanly women every minute of everyday.

Love- the yummy Apple Pie that I made because of Sarah's link up with FBF last friday.

Hate- that she wasn't there to eat it with me :)

Love- that I can now get started on that Summer reading list which contains these titles;

Love/Hate

LOVE - our 65 VW camper bus.

  HATE - that it's not working right now.

LOVE- having a productive cleaning day where I even get in the crooks and crannies of my pantry.

HATE- finding out that a whole bottle of corn syrup spilled in said pantry. Argh... nothing worse than corn syrup stuck to the bottoms of cardboard cereal boxes. Argh... I say again!

LOVE- having My Giant home from work and getting extra time with him.

HATE- having to share that time with anyone, or anything. Especially that blasted phone that rings off the hook for him because of his blasted job.

LOVE- that my daughter Em is a singer and that she got chosen to sing at her Jr. High graduation.

HATE- how nervous I get when she's sings. Serious upset tummy going on over here for this momma. (She did great btw)


LOVE- going for walks in the woods and finding beauty in the simple.

HATE- when my shoes get all muddy. 

LOVE- That it's the end of the school year this week for my kiddos.

HATE- How busy this last week can be. Seriously, don't even think I have time to go pee. 

LOVE- living in the Pacific Northwest.

HATE- How the summer weather doesn't really kick in until July.

I LOVE that lil "last minute biscuit" up there.
I HATE saying goodbye to her.

I LOVE being home with my kids.

I HATE when they are home sick and missing out on a field trip.(Insert sad emoticon here)

I LOVE road trips.

I HATE having to drive in angry rain.

I LOVE my new pup Briot(not really a puppy, actually he's an old man pup)

I HATE when he runs away all the time because he still has his neeners(he didn't let the kitten lick them off) and so he smells certain things in the air that puppies smell when they still have neeners. If you don't know what neeners are you can find out here.

I LOVE my nieces.

I HATE that I don't live near them anymore.(I may have mentioned this earlier but what can I say I miss these girls)

I LOVE coffee. I mean what mom of 4 kids doesn't?

I HATE (and I really do hate this) coffee breath. It seems there is no gum strong enough! Have you found one strong enough? Well hook a sister up, what is it?

I LOVE social media's(Hello Captain Obvious)

I HATE all of them sometimes. Anyone else? Can I get a witness? You know what I'm talking about?
If you know what I'm talking about without even having to explain, HOLLA!!

I LOVE listening to my record player

I HATE not having enough room to store all these wonderful tunes properly.

I Love My Giant.

I Hate watching some of his boring documentaries.

I Love how energized and great I feel after a good walk in the woods.
I Hate exercise and it is such a mind game to get out that damn door. Why, I ask you? Why couldn't I be born like sister Jen who just finished a Sprint Tri last weekend?

I Love living in a cabin surrounded by trees.
I Hate that sometimes it can be very dark here because I live in a cabin surrounded by trees.

I Love my job as a Domestic Goddess, aka SAHM, maid, CEO of MoNoSco.
I Hate that often times the minute my kids walk through the door you can no longer see my hard work as a Domestic Goddess.

I Love having people come visit. That up there is sister Jen. She does Sprint Tri's, clearly I do NOT.
I Hate it when they leave.

I Love Texting.
I Hate it that my fingers don't move fast enough.

I Love when I am learning something new and I can't wait to get up in the morning because of it.
I Hate when I feel stupid because I don't know these things already.

I Hate not being able to sit across the table from you while I have you over for a cup of joe,tea,water,vino, whatever floats your boat.

Intro to my Love/ Hate button and A NEW LINK UP

Love/Hate

While I was sweeping the floor for the ba-zillionath time today I thought of some LOVE/HATES that I would like to share with you all now. If you have a few minutes of reading time you can find more Love/Hate posts here;LOVE/HATE.
This LOVE/HATE post is dedicated to ; Barley, Bella, and Briot. My beloved 4 leggeds.


LOVE my dogs.

HATE sweeping up their fur coats everyday.
LOVE this little dog named Bella.

HATE that she has to stay leashed up outside because she runs away, while the other dogs get to run around and play.
LOVE living in the trees.

HATE all the mud,dirt, branches, gunk, that gets tracked in on a regular basis.
LOVE that I have a creek right outside my door where my dogs can go take a dip, or drink from when they are thirsty from playing fetch.

HATE that wet paws track through my house everyday. Well, on a good day I might think those wet paw prints are cute, but not after I just mopped the floor.

What are some of your love/hates? I'm interested to know, really I am.
