Cleaning House

Have I ever mentioned how much I detest house work. Well, I do. If I could have a person to do this job I would. I mean I have 4 persons that could do some of these jobs but they just don't get it really done, if you know what I mean. Well, today, before leaving for a long camping trip I told kids that their rooms needed to be clean before we could leave to go anywhere. I have a feeling I won't be going anywhere anytime soon. These kind of days usually don't end very well. Pray for me.

Well, if you end up trapped in the house with the kiddos who aren't cleaning, I will happily come keep you company. Better yet, you can leave them home with t moses and we can go get ice cream or something without them. Of course we can also bring back some ice cream for t moses and then you can tell them that if their rooms had been clean they could have had ice cream too... But I may just be mean... :)

I can remember being little and my mom saying the same thing to me! I hated those days but I am so thankful for them now. Those were the days that I learned how to deep clean and now that I have a home of my own, I'm glad that my mom made us clean like that.

unfortunately, I can TOTALLY RELATE to this post. Hope you have a great time camping, and are coming home to a crisp, clean house!

The ol' clean the house before camping routine. I long tradition in my family, although it does always seem like I'm the one doing the cleaning!
Congrats on the accomplishment & I hope your camping trip is fantabulous!

You could hire someone to come once a week. They do it in the Philippines quite regularly. It's like an upstanding job to be a house cleaner. I think there is NO SHAME in getting someone once in awhile if it helps, especially with so many little people. :D

Have fun in the forest.
