OK, so maybe not as classic as Grease itself, still... a classic in it's own right.
My favorite part of this movie is when the Pink Ladies sing the song, "I'll be your girl for all seasons" because I remember when I was a young girl watching this and loving the outfits that they wore during the season changes.
Silly, yes.
Fun, totally.

We had the discussion about the first Grease movie versus Grease 2. There were some in our viewing group that prefer the original, and then some who were born later in life that know Grease 2 by heart.

I didn't even know there was a Grease 2! I recently saw Grease for the first time though.... ("oh man, this modern generation doesn't know the classics?!!")
Well I grew up watching movies from the Gregory Peck, Audrey Hepburn, Cary Grant, Humphrey Bogart era--not really the 70s and 80s--I guess I just watched what my parents were fans of! :P
Well, I only saw Grease, never 2.... So I guess I'll be searching for a copy to watch with Izzy. Not many musicals made anymore, with the exception of Momma Mia, and of course Glee on TV. Wonder why????
I LOVE Grease 2... my fave is "We're gonna score tonight" so funny! And "cool rider"? HOT!
I don't think I've seen Grease 2 but I LOVE Grease! Will have to see if I can find Grease 2 (but I might end up being a Grease purist, we'll have to see)

Great post! I've seen both and even though I'm a Michelle Pfeifer fan I'm prone more towards the first one. I jut love it and yes I know all of the songs and will happily sing along while watching the movie. lol I hope you're having a wonderful weekend!
I was just watching the original Grease this morning -- I hadn't seen it in a while but it was definitely one of my favorites back in the day...although there's so much in the movie that I didn't understand back when I was 8 years old...I still love it anyways!
And I have seen Grease 2, but I really wasn't much of a fan of it :/
