I am going to go listen to him speak on Monday. I have NEVER seen any political person speak before. Should be interesting. I am going with a friend and at least that I know will be fun. I will let you know what I think when I come back.
I've never been to a political rally before. I can't seem to get that excited enough about any of them to actually go see them speak in person. Call me lazy, but I prefer my nice comfy seat on the couch with my remote! Let us know how it went!
I saw John McCain speak last May, and it was pretty good. The best part, though, was the people who were protesting outside of the venue. They were banging pots and pans, but held no signs.
I didn't get it. They might have just been hungry.
Yes, and if you get a chance....Raise your hand and see where he stands on abortion....for Dad's sake......He would be an interesting guy to listen to. I heard him speak with the rest of America a few years ago at the Democratic Convention.....on t.v. that is.... OK, and I have to tell you that I just did the "Noelle Pilates: 10 minutes in your pocket" I'm feelin' it. Thanks sister. Love you. Jen
erica- i find it interesting as well. like it will make any difference at all , right? no just kidding. i think it just helps us to think that it will make a difference. laura- i have never been to anything political before either and i just think it will be an interesting experience. david- protesters are always good people watching. gotta give em credit for being out there , kinda like the obese person , wearing too tight workout clothes jogging down the street...gotta give em credit for trying!!! jen- i will NOT be speaking out about NUTTIN honey!! go Noelle's Pilates, good stuff.
I am with Louie (not Louise). I recently included Mr. Obama in one of my presentations for school. I think I posted on him, but I will repeat because it fits the topic. My job was to point out falacies. In a democratic debate question and answer period, Obama was asked if he really supported sex education for elementary aged students as he had previously voted. His answer- (name of another senator that has excaped me voted for it too. Wait, really. What is he six and has to hide his naughty decisions behind the smoke screen of another's? Suddenly he was Lloyd on Dumb and Dumber when Sea Bass asked who threw the salt shaker sigh. I do hope you have fun though friend.
jen - i don't think noel needs to raise her hand to ask a question we all know the answer to. i think she should ask how he felt when he first heard that al sharpton was related to strom thurmond.
Sorry, I had to do that. I rarely pay any attention to politics. It's really hard to not get bits & pieces with the constant bombardment of ads, commercials, & EMAILS (thanks Georgia). The flock of candidates make me ill. Most of them are related to each other & they've all sold their souls. If McCain stroked out during one of his attempts at humor, I would feel sad, then move on.
so, one time I heard President Bush SENIOR at a rally. Later he did a meet and greet....He went to shake my hand and I took a picture of him instead. I have this picture of him with a corny grin and a hand reached out.....funny. Maybe you could get one of Obama and sell it on ebay.
I keep seeing all of these comments popping in from your sister, so I thought I would help her. I think this could be the most amount of comments for the shortest blog post.
wow guys- i leave my blogspot for a day and what to my wondering eyes does appear but 22 random comments that have brought my eyes to a tear!!! not really, that was a very lame attempt to rhyme. obama did not disappoint is all i have to say. there is a reason he has gotten this far in the race and it is not because of lobbyist money, it's because of OPRAH!!! No, just kidding but probably some of that is true. Thanks for the comments guys.

It's interesting how this political race is drawing so many people in

I also like to watch politicians on my TV, using the DVR. So I can fast-forward them. And erase them.

I am so jealous. I would go if I wasn't going to be at work at 11:00 am. And if I hadn't already made plans for tomorrow evening at 7:00ish...

Ben- Looks like your campaigning worked, Ron Paul is now winning in my poll.
Hey sis....do you still watch Regis? My friend Eric Moore was on there with Kirk Franklin. Wish I would have seen it....
that last comment had nothing to do with Obama or politics.....just for fun....
Oh, and I want you to have the most comments on your blog, but I would have to leave a ton more so I guess I'll stop now.
you think you could get Emma to start blogging again? another random thought...
did you see that Becky has a new song on My space called "You". It's pretty good. I like it.
