I just thought I would share the fact that my favorite television show is back on. For the last five years now it has been pretty much the only thing that I tune into the idiot box for. I watch begining to end the journey that these contestants go on in thier quest for fame and fortune.
This show becomes somewhat of an addiction for me and so in attempt to not feel guilty this year I was thinking of how I could make it into a small group.
LOL!!! I actually did mention to the girls that watched with me tonight that this could be a small group but I don't know if the name is all that appropriate!!

yeah, me & the ladies watch this show. i always like to hear a good voice. i struggle w/the whole solo thing, but my girls love it. have you ever considered trying out for it? we had a friend w/a really good voice try out. she didn't make it past the first audition (in the parking lot). then we saw some of the others that got passed through the auditions. then we knew that some were advanced for the show to make some money off of their horrible voices & dancing.
i know that is part of the show. they seriously are so mean how they let those ones keep going that are just painful to watch. wicked!! i can't try out i am too old but even if i was young enough i don't think i would. i think that's why i admire these contestants so much, theyv'e got gutts!!

It could be called "American, Idle" instead.
I just watched it for the first time ever last night and was very entertained. I had a friend try out last year and pretty much said that she was told that she wasn't "pop" enough even though they claimed to want unique...
I love it too--never miss it!!
now i know what question was missing from the geek test. i can't believe people watch this! then again, kelly clarkson and creed are both mainstays in my kids' cd players . . .
