The Twilight Zone

I feel I have entered the twilight zone and I am repeating the last 5years of my life only this time its being at home with 2 boys instead of 2 girls.
Very wierd. Very different. Very Interesting.
Boys are a different breed and I don't quite get em yet but I am working on it.
IF I could just get past having panic attacks every 5 seconds that they are jumping off something, or climbing something else, or breaking things.......Lord have mercy there is a special place in heaven for the parents of all boys, I'm convinced tis true.

I wanna quote a line from kindergarten cop about the difference in boys and girls...but I don't know if that'd be right

my boy was always climbing on or jumping off something. you can't tell it now, but he was constantly moving. he definitly scared me more than a few times.

When Julian was in kindergarten he had a birthday party in which he wanted to invite 5 boys and one girl from his school. Okay. So all the boys come first and they get guns and are running through the house shooting and making noise. The little girl comes to the door and just freezes when she sees/hears the boys. Oops! That's when I realized how different little girls can be from little boys. I don't think she had a very good time at the party....

I hear you, Noel. After having three daughters, I'm daily amazed at the actions, attitudes, and personality of Jadon. He's very cool, but very different. I want to snuggle, he wants to head butt.

Oh, boy . . . I just hope I can keep up in my old age.

I miss being able to hold both my boys in my arms at the same time. Of course that was a little hard on the ears.

My mom would agree with the special place in heaven. just wait till they both learn how to swing golf clubs and turn your house into a par 3...good times, good times.

i have no other males in my house. if anybody needs a break- just let me know & i'll baby-sit them. i might have them wash my cars, mow the lawn, & pull some weeds. do you guys have an available date to send them over?

I'll send mine over, but I think they'll be more likely to want to watch Star Wars for the 100th time, eat food, make a mess, and play video games and yell and bout with each other. Forget work! :)

noel -- you will be happy you have boys last once you're on your last round through the teenage years.
