The burners down the street have made the migration home and are dirtying up my street once again. Can't wait to hear from my friends how this years events went down. At least they didn't have an early bird ruin their show this time like last year so that's good. You would not believe how many dirty RV's and cars, vans, and other modes of transportation were parked up and down our street this morning. When I brought the kids to school they said, "Looks like the burning man people have come back". Ya think!!
This is what I found myself wondering , How do they clean everything? Seriously, the thought of how dirty everything comes back is reason enough for me not to ever want to go. I wonder how long it takes the burners to clean up all that stuff.
So the Burning man youth hostile looks quite full right now and I do believe they must be having some kind of clean up after party going on over there because it is quite busy.

We have a friend that owns a car business and he knows a car rental service that this year started to charge for having to clean up the dust on all those burning man rentals.
Didn't know all those thousands of people like camping in the dirt for a week.
This weekend after I went to the rib cook-off with my dad, we went to the Grand Sierra... We decided to play a game "Burning Man or Nikki Beach" identifying the people passing by as one or the other based on their "costumes".
erica- your friend is smart to charge extra. those cars look like they would be a pain in the butt to get clean. the dirt and dust has been caked on there for days. yucka!!
jeni- sounds like a fun game. did you have more for burners or beach?
i sometimes have to shake my head and laugh...the playa is one of the best parts and it never comes off...it's called your own little scrapbook of memories and you don't have to take any pictures!
Well God made dirt. Dirt don't hurt. It may not hurt but it sure is hard to get off your stuff. Yuck.
Definitely more burners, but there were plenty of beachers, too...
