A Dream Job

I got a job that pays in cash!! You know because I have a job that pays in hugs and kisses right now , but a  second job that pays cash is what I've  got now. I am now the proud employee of It's A Grind coffee shop on McCarran and Prater.  I have not worked outside of the house since we moved to Reno except for a little stint with Little Lites Preschool when it was getting up and running, but other than that I have been in a bubble otherwise known as my home. I would like to say that I was extremely blessed to be home all those years, but I am so ready to get back out in the real world.
So if you are in Sparks, looking for a coffee stop other than Starbuck's check It's A Grind coffee shop out. I might just be there serving up your cup a joe with a smile.
This job has always been on my list of dream jobs.  I have a list of  dream  jobs that I would like to work in my lifetime. Does anyone else have this type of list? It's kinda like the list of books you plan to read in  your life. On my list of dream jobs I also would like to work before I die is; An airline stewardess, a waitress, a makeup artist, a back up singer for Celine Dion, A kindergarten teacher, an "published" author, a restaurant owner, and a grandma someday way in the future.
I would be interested to hear what your dream jobs are. I know I have quite a few but hey, I am young and that is a lot of years to fill.

Awesome!! When do you typically work? Mornings or evenings?
I'm not really big on "working" so I never had a "dream job" list. Obviously it is my dream to finish nursing school and to be an RN. Other than that, there really isn't anything else I would love to do. If I would have started earlier, I would have probably gone to medical school. I love science and the body:)

I would typically work the afternoon evening shift. On weekends though either morning or afternoon.
I could see you as a Dr. You are young there is still time Laura. Seriously, I can't stand science stuff. It is like a foreign language to me. I am having a hard time even in my health and nutrition course, so that is a gift.

I can't wait to come visit you! I love non-Starbucks coffee (though I do also like Starbucks) and I am due for an oil change, so I'll be in the neighborhood anyway! :)

I have pretty much had only one (semi-plausible) dream job since I was 7 years old-- still working on that one, and if you have to ask, you've probably never met me.
In college I started to think being a doctor would be my other dream job, but I told myself I wasn't smart enough-- though I do have the memory for it.

Other dream jobs that were on my list at some point in life despite the fact that I do not have the skills for them:
*A Singer (Ha ha ha!) but not just any singer- I wanted to be in a Broadway musical
*A Marine Biologist
*A professional wrestler (don't ask... I was ten and I hung around with ALL boys.)

And Laura-- I agree with Noel, you definitely have plenty of time if that's what you want. :)

Noel, a kept man is one who doesn't have to work because his rich wife is keeping him in the lifestyle of his choice.

If that is the definition of "kept"... I will add a kept wife to my list:)
