We got cable for the first time in the 11+ years of marriage that we have had . I think we never owned cable before because we thought that we would turn into couch potatoes yet we would still watch television just through a fuzzy screen. We now have more channels than we will ever watch and I have to say that in some ways I feel I have missed out on the world of cable. Anyway, my favorite channel is HGTV. I could watch this channel 24/7. It really has become a problem, kinda like Myspace was at first. Well, I guess realizing that you have a problem is half the battle right??

What does HGTV stand for? What shows do they have?
Home and Garden TV i think? it is all about home shows. renovating, selling, painting, and updating them. so addicting.
Actually, Noel, it's not "half the battle" . . . it's only step 1 of 12 . . . :-)
yah, I agree. That only works if you are GI Joe, or his sidekick, SnakeEyes. Hey did you know that the new Snake Eyes actually has light up eyes!! WHAT THE....IDIOTS. Why couldn't they come up with that when I was little! He could have taken Barbie out much sooner!!
okay well i am on the long road to recovery then and it doesn't help that american idol begins tonight.
i'm so happy that we don't have cable! i love to go to my moms and watch that channel! what's wrong with watching anyway...you're learning aren't you?
tasha- i love the fact that you two don't have cable, internet access at home, or a cell phone. you are like a couple of vw loving hippies or something :)
i am telling ya you wouldn't believe how much i am learning between that channel and the food network all good and to top the fact the tv i am choosing to watch is educational i am also reading books in between the commercials :) thee hee hee!!
well, here in budapest it's Sky News and the biggest thing going over here on this british channel is that some girl was kicked off Britians big brother series for saying some remarks that the press is pinning as "rascist." this is the biggest news in the english speaking world:? It's NOT educational except to see what's become so important as unreality tv.
